Past Performance:

Development of the Congressional Information Management System (CIMS):
All congressional inquiries to the Department of the Navy, and the Navy’s responses are compiled through our web-based workflow, and document management system developed by our software engineers.

Development of the Congressional Knowledgebase Management System (CKMS):
This system which is a companion system to CIMS is an ICal standards based tasking system. CKMS users can create calendar based tasking where extensive detail about the task/event is included in the web-based portion, while the ICAL standardization allows multi-platform email calendaring to be feasible. CKMS captures all Congressional information and interaction between the Navy and the Congressional staffers. It provides tools that generate dynamic calendars from search criteria. Search results can be exported to multiple file types.

Development of Tech Solutions:
Tech Solutions is a set of web-based management tools designed based on an originally a paper based system for evaluating technical proposals for improving the work environment of our Government’s service men and women. The Department of Defense’s Office of Naval Research owned the process and decided to create a web-based prototype for automating their paper system. The application went through two different development teams before VPC was awarded the contract to design and implement an enterprise solution without losing any of the data from previous efforts.

Development of the Justification Management System (JMS):
This application facilitates the formulation of the Department of the Navy Budget in a web-based environment through the use of workflow and document management algorithms designed by our engineers. The Justification Management System (JMS) collects Navy budget submissions from around the world in various data formats to be compiled and submitted to the Office of the Secretary of Defense as the Navy’s portion of the Department of Defense budget submission. JMS is a family of budget building applications which our engineers have integrated. Additionally, JMS seamlessly interfaces with other Department of the Navy planning and budgeting systems – both legacy and evolving technically solutions.
